Tenant and Property Ledgers

Drill into a single tenant's or property's full charge and payment history.

While the Overview tab shows totals, the Tenant Ledger and Property Ledger tabs let you drill into exactly where every dollar came from or went.

Tenant Ledger

A summary table of every tenant — charged, paid, and balance — with status pills (Current/Former) and an "Owes only" filter to quickly find who's behind. At the top, the Assess Late Fees button checks every active lease against its grace period and applies late fees wherever rent is overdue, reporting how many new fees it assessed.

Click any tenant to open their full ledger: total charged, total paid, running balance, and a complete chronological line-item list — charges, payments, credits, late fees, and deposit returns, each color-coded. Late fee lines have an inline Waive button (with an optional reason) if you need to forgive one.

Property Ledger

Three summary cards (Total Charged, Total Collected, Outstanding Balance) aggregated across your whole portfolio, then an expandable list of properties. Expand one to see a per-unit breakdown — status, current tenant, rent, charged, paid, and balance — with a property-level total row at the bottom.

Tip
Use the Property Ledger when you want a "how is this building doing" view; use the Tenant Ledger when you want a "who owes me money" view.
